The gifts of the Spirit are gracious manifestations distributed by God for edification, witness, comfort, healing, revelation, faith, and the strengthening of Christ’s body under biblical order and love.

Gifts are grace, not rank

Charismata are gifts of grace. No manifestation proves superior character, and no person owns the Spirit.

The Spirit distributes as He wills, while believers are told to desire gifts and make themselves available.

For the common good

Gifts reveal God’s care through the body: wisdom, knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, interpretation, service, teaching, encouragement, giving, leadership, and mercy.

They should direct attention to Jesus and strengthen people rather than create fascination with personalities.

Love, testing, and order

Love governs motive and use. Prophetic speech is weighed; manifestations are interpreted; leaders protect peace and participation.

Destiny can make room for gifts without manufacturing moments: teach clearly, pray expectantly, test humbly, and follow up pastorally.

Grace Revealed

Grace brings truth into life.

Gifts are unearned expressions of God’s generosity. The Spirit supplies what the body needs through ordinary believers.

Knowing Him

Every truth leads toward God.

The gifts make God’s active care tangible and invite deeper dependence on the Giver rather than the gift.

Why this matters for salvation

God’s teaching serves His saving purpose.

Spiritual gifts confirm and serve the gospel, strengthen faith, expose darkness, bring mercy, and edify believers toward perseverance.

Pray the truth

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of gifts of the spirit. Desire spiritual gifts, pursue love, remain submitted to Scripture, and use every grace for the common good. Let Your grace form me, draw me nearer to You, and make my life useful in Your saving purpose. Amen.
