The new covenant established in Jesus’ blood fulfills prophetic promise by granting forgiveness, inward transformation, knowledge of God, the indwelling Spirit, and a multinational covenant people.

Promise answers covenant failure
Israel’s history shows that external command cannot cure the rebellious heart. The prophets promise divine action: cleansing, heart renewal, Spirit, and restored relationship.
The new covenant is new in transforming power and messianic fulfillment, while remaining the faithfulness of Israel’s God.
Established through Jesus
At the meal Jesus interprets His approaching death as covenant-making blood. Hebrews presents Him as mediator and High Priest.
His sacrifice deals decisively with sin and opens enduring access to God.
Experienced in gospel response
Acts 2 joins Jesus’ exaltation, Spirit outpouring, repentance, baptism in His name, forgiveness, and gift of the Spirit.
The covenant gathers Jews and nations into one people who know God and bear His law inwardly.
Grace Revealed
Grace brings truth into life.
God provides the cleansing, forgiveness, heart, Spirit, mediator, and sacrifice the covenant people need.
Knowing Him
Every truth leads toward God.
The new covenant’s promise is relational: “They shall all know Me.” Salvation restores intimate knowledge of God.
Why this matters for salvation
God’s teaching serves His saving purpose.
New-covenant salvation includes remission of sins, Spirit reception, transformed desire, access to God, and covenant belonging through Jesus.
