Lesson 06 of 12God’s saving reign announced and embodied by Jesus
This lesson matters because the kingdom of God is God’s active saving reign breaking into history through Jesus Christ, confronting sin and evil, forming a kingdom people, and moving toward complete restoration at His return. My prayer is that you receive this truth as grace, respond in obedience, and allow it to deepen both your relationship with God and your participation in His purpose. — Pastor Travis Morgan

Read the Word
visions God’s everlasting dominion given through the Son of Man.
summarizes Jesus’ announcement of the near kingdom and response.
connects Jesus’ Spirit-anointed mission with good news and liberation.
interprets deliverance as the kingdom overcoming Satan’s rule.
looks toward Christ defeating every enemy and death.
Kingdom means reign before territory. Jesus announces that God’s promised rule has drawn near and calls people to repent and believe.
His teaching, healings, deliverance, forgiveness, table fellowship, and authority reveal the kingdom in action.
The kingdom is genuinely present through Jesus and Spirit, yet death, injustice, and rebellion remain until final victory.
This tension protects us from acting as though nothing changed or claiming every promise is already complete.
Those born of water and Spirit enter kingdom life under Jesus’ lordship. They embody righteousness, peace, joy, mercy, holiness, generosity, and witness.
The church serves and announces the kingdom but does not control or exhaust it. Christ remains King.
Grace Revealed
God comes to rescue and reign rather than waiting for humanity to build a path upward. Kingdom is saving grace in royal action.
Knowing Him
Knowing Jesus means submitting joyfully to the King whose authority heals, frees, corrects, and restores.
Why this matters for salvation
The kingdom announces deliverance from rival powers, entrance through new birth, transformed life now, and final victory over death.
