The biblical story reaches its goal when Jesus returns, raises the dead, judges evil, completes redemption, renews creation, and dwells forever with His people in holy love and embodied life.

The King returns

Christian hope is not humanity’s gradual self-salvation. Jesus personally returns to complete the reign already inaugurated.

His appearing vindicates faith, exposes evil, gathers His people, and brings history under righteous judgment.

Resurrection, not escape

God raises the dead and transforms mortal bodies. The final hope honors creation and embodiment rather than abandoning them.

Death, grief, pain, curse, and night are removed as creation becomes God’s unhindered dwelling.

Hope shapes present life

Future judgment gives moral seriousness; resurrection gives courage; new creation gives value to faithful labor; God’s presence gives the deepest longing its answer.

We wait actively through holiness, worship, justice, witness, endurance, and the Spirit’s firstfruits.

Grace Revealed

Grace brings truth into life.

God pledges to finish what humanity cannot. The Spirit is the down payment, resurrection is promised, and the Lamb secures the future.

Knowing Him

Every truth leads toward God.

The story ends with intimate presence: God dwelling with His people, seeing His face, bearing His name, and sharing His light.

Why this matters for salvation

God’s teaching serves His saving purpose.

Salvation reaches completion in resurrection, judgment, freedom from death, renewed creation, and eternal communion under Jesus’ reign.
