Lesson 03 of 11Carrying calling in the way of Jesus
This lesson matters because kingdom calling is carried through servanthood: using strength, authority, gifts, and opportunity to seek God’s glory and another person’s good rather than personal status. My prayer is that you receive this truth as grace, respond in obedience, and allow it to deepen both your relationship with God and your participation in His purpose. — Pastor Travis Morgan

Kingdom calling is carried through servanthood: using strength, authority, gifts, and opportunity to seek God’s glory and another person’s good rather than personal status.
Read the Word
defines greatness through service and Jesus’ self-giving.
shows secure identity expressed through foot-washing.
presents Christ’s humility as the church’s mindset.
connects faithfulness in little things with trustworthy stewardship.
turns freedom toward loving service.
Jesus serves from knowing where He came from and where He is going. Insecure people may use ministry to prove themselves; secure people can take the towel.
Servanthood is not weakness or enabling abuse. It is strength freely directed by love and truth.
Kingdom preparation often occurs through hidden reliability: arriving, communicating, cleaning, praying, following through, and caring for one person.
A calling that refuses ordinary service is not ready for enlarged influence.
Servant leaders make decisions and set boundaries, but they do so for mission and people rather than ego.
Healthy service receives correction, shares credit, develops others, and releases control.
Grace Revealed
Jesus served us before we could serve Him. Grace establishes worth so service can flow without earning or resentment.
Knowing Him
Serving brings us into the pattern and presence of the One who came not to be served but to serve.
Why this matters for salvation
Servanthood embodies the cross, strengthens the church, and makes the saving character of Jesus visible.
