Leadership is stewardship
Influence exists whether or not someone has a title. Christian leaders answer to Jesus for people, truth, resources, decisions, culture, and example.
Desire to lead should be examined: Do I want responsibility and service, or visibility and control?
Character before platform
New Testament qualifications emphasize faithfulness, self-control, relationships, hospitality, doctrine, and reputation. Gifts cannot substitute for maturity.
Leaders should be tested in ordinary service, receive feedback, and demonstrate alignment with Destiny’s mission and doctrine.
Readiness for the next academy
Grow introduces leadership; Destiny Leadership Academy will deepen self-leadership, team leadership, ministry systems, pastoral care, spiritual leadership, and accountability.
Completion of courses alone does not appoint a leader. Calling, character, fruit, competence, relationship, need, and pastoral confirmation all matter.
Grace Revealed
Grace brings truth into life.
Jesus calls and forms leaders by grace, using weakness without excusing immaturity. Leadership is entrusted, not possessed.
Knowing Him
Every truth leads toward God.
Leaders remain followers first. Intimacy protects the heart from using ministry to replace relationship with Jesus.
Why this matters for salvation
God’s teaching serves His saving purpose.
Healthy leadership guards the flock, preserves truth, equips saints, and coordinates the church’s participation in God’s saving mission.

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of introduction to leadership. Lead yourself under Jesus, serve faithfully, welcome testing, and allow calling to be confirmed in community. Let Your grace form me, draw me nearer to You, and make my life useful in Your saving purpose. Amen.
