Lesson 01 of 10From information about God to covenant relationship with Him
Welcome to Relationship. God has not merely invited you to study Him from a distance. Through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, He calls you into genuine fellowship. My prayer is that every lesson in this level moves truth from the page into a lived relationship with Him. — Pastor Travis Morgan

Eternal life is to know the only true God through Jesus Christ—not merely to possess information, but to live in trusting, obedient fellowship with Him.
Read the Word
defines eternal life as knowing God through Jesus Christ.
makes understanding and knowing God the believer’s true boast.
shows Paul valuing the knowledge of Christ above every gain.
records Moses asking to know God’s way and glory.
connects apostolic truth with fellowship with God.
Creation reveals His power, Scripture reveals His character and purposes, and Jesus Christ makes the invisible God known savingly. We know God because He first reveals Himself. Yet revelation calls for response: trust, love, worship, obedience, and shared life.
Biblical “knowing” is relational and covenantal. It includes accurate truth but exceeds facts. A person may know vocabulary about God while resisting His voice. Intimacy grows when revealed truth is welcomed into the heart and practiced.
Jesus is not one religious route among many. He is the saving self-revelation of God and the mediator who brings us to the Father. To behold His holiness, compassion, authority, cross, and resurrection is to encounter what God has made known of Himself.
Paul had education and religious achievement, yet counted everything loss for the surpassing value of knowing Christ. Mature Christianity never outgrows this pursuit.
Those who know God learn His ways. His love reshapes love, His holiness exposes sin, His faithfulness teaches trust, and His mission redirects purpose. Intimacy without transformation becomes sentiment; obedience without intimacy becomes lifeless duty.
Set a daily appointment with God. Bring Scripture, honest prayer, worship, silence, and willingness to obey. Do not measure the relationship only by emotion. Faithful presence forms a life over time.
Grace Revealed
God took the initiative to make Himself known, reconcile sinners, and give His Spirit. Intimacy is not a prize for impressive Christians; it is a grace opened through Christ.
Knowing Him
Knowing Him is Destiny’s first mission. Let every doctrine become a window into His character and every practice become a place of fellowship.
Why this matters for salvation
Jesus connects eternal life with knowing God. Salvation brings us not merely out of judgment but into restored communion, covenant belonging, and an ever-deepening knowledge of the Savior.
