You can request deletion of the account shared by the My Destiny Church app and the My Destiny website. Deleting one affects both; uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete the account.
What account deletion removes
Your shared sign-in account, app profile information and profile photo, your personal notebook including Trash, and your learning progress and quiz history. Download any notes you want to keep before requesting deletion.
What may remain separately
Church, donation and safety records may need to be retained for a legitimate purpose. Minimal access-revocation records prevent an old sign-in from restoring a deleted account. Account deletion does not cancel a recurring gift managed through Church Center; manage that gift with the giving provider.
A profile created only for the app can be cleaned up automatically. When the same person also has separate church records, the team reviews those records before completing deletion; they are not all kept merely because they belong to the church. A pending review does not mean your information has already been erased.
Restricted backups can temporarily contain older information. Our current database plan provides a 24-hour point-in-time recovery window; this is not a guarantee that every provider-held copy is physically erased within 24 hours. Deleted information must not be returned to active use when recovering a backup.

We may need to verify ownership before acting.
Our target is to complete a verified deletion request within seven days. If separate church records need review or processing needs attention, the request remains pending rather than being marked complete. Contact the support team above for an explanation or help with a delay.
